Logitech today announced a new, ergonomically designed keyboard called the Ergo K860. As seen in the image above, it sports a split design to facilitate a more natural typing experience by angling the left and right main typing sections . The idea behind these types of designs is that users do not have to twist their wrists, as is required when typing on a traditional keyboard. "We know that most people spend between a quarter and a third of their lives at work, so it is important they stay comfortable while they’re at it. Logitech has unveiled the new Logitech G Pro X Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, which has multiple switch types, including Clicky, Linear, and Tactile. The keyboard is a tenkeyless design and is aimed directly at eSports pros and those that hope they were up to the task of taking on the big boys and gals. The Pro X gaming keyboard is built to give gamers competition-grade reliability, and Logitech says that it understands that gamers have different preferences when it comes to keyboard switches. Logitech is trying to become a major force in the broadcast and livestreaming space. It took another step in that direction today by announcing it has agreed to acquired Streamlabs for $89 million in cash, and potentially another $29 million in Logitech stock (subject to the achievement of significant revenue growth targets for Streamlabs). Streamlabs makes the popular Streamlabs OBS, which according to the company has been used to stream 161 million hours of content since January 2018. There are currently 1.6 million people who use Streamlabs OBS, and if the company's figures are accurate, 70 percent of Twitch is streamed with its software. Logitech this morning announced two new mechanical keyboards for hardcore gamers, or just about anyone that likes excellent tactile feedback when typing. The two keyboards are the G915 Lightspeed Wireless and the G815 Lightsync RGB. Both keyboards share the same overall design aesthetic and feature Logitech's new Romer GL switches. According to Logitech, these low-profile switches are roughly half the height of normal mechanical switches and have 25 percent faster actuation. Logitech is taking a second stab at resurrecting its famous MX518 Gaming Mouse. The original debuted back in the middle of the last decade and was praised for its ergonomic design and gaming performance. The company then gave the mouse an internal upgrade and slight exterior refresh with the Optical Gaming Mouse G400 in 2011. Logitech has announced a new line of gaming headsets that run the gamut from low-end to higher-end units. Giving the varying price points of these units, there's  headset for nearly every budget and usage case. The high-end unit is the G935 Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Lightsync gaming headset; it sells for $169.99. It has a flip away mic that mutes when swung out of the way and a 15-meter indoor wireless range. The headset offers 50mm drivers and frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz. Logitech has been making peripherals and accessories for computers and tablets for decades, such as the MX Vertical mouse we talked about last month. The company has announced that a product made originally for the education market is now coming to Apple Retail stores for the masses to purchase designed specifically for the new 9.7-inch iPad. That product is called the Logitech Crayon and is an Apple Pencil replacement that features a chunky, kid-friendly and durable design that anyone could use. If you are the sort of PC gamer that likes blingy and clicky keyboards, you will like the new Logitech G512 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. The new keyboard is the first product from Logitech that comes with the new GX Blue mechanical switches. Logitech promises that these key switches have the sort of click you can feel and hear. The G512 is built on the same design of the G413 and G513 keyboards. Logitech is promising to deliver the performance of a wired mouse with all the convenience of a wireless mouse -- all for around $60. While might sound a little too good to be true, Logitech says that it has delivered with the G305 Lightspeed mouse. Backed by Logitech's Lightspeed wireless technology and a high-performance (HERO) sensor, the G305 is said to be faster than "most" wired gaming mice on the market while delivering 10 times the power efficiency of the company's previous generation mice.
