For many years Logitech made one of the few alternatives to a mouse for people who had some sort of wrist or hand issue like Carpal Tunnel syndrome (or folks who just hated a mouse). That alternative was the Trackball and there were several versions to choose from for users. About a decade ago, Logitech vacated that space leaving those needing an alternative to a normal mouse without many options. However, Logitech has launched a new trackball and that new product is called the MX Ergo. Logitech notes that this is its very first adjustable trackball designed from the ground up to support comfort... Read more...

If there is a downside to mechanical keyboards, it is that manufacturers have taken advantage of the category's popularity with inflated price tags. That is a shame because everyone who types should trash their squishy membrane plank and buy a keyboard with mechanical key switches. The good news is things are improving. Logitech, for example, just announced the G413, a sub-$100 mechanical keyboard for gamers that uses its fancy Romer-G key switches. We haven't played with one in person yet, but based on the press photos Logitech gets kudos for building a normal looking plank. By that we mean it... Read more...

For anyone that has begrudgingly sat through a PowerPoint presentation against your will (that should be all of us), the act can be just as much of a downer for the person doing the presenting as it is for a glossy-eyed audience. The folks at Logitech, however, are looking to take some of the monotony out of traditional presentations with the unveiling of the new Spotlight Presentation Remote that also delivers some slick controls and features for maximum presentation impact. Logitech hopes that Spotlight will install confidence in its handler, allowing you to both magnify and highlight on-screen... Read more...
If you’re a diehard video streamer, Logitech has just announced a much-improved successor to its incredibly popular C920. The C920 webcam has been with us for nearly five years, and it has served with distinction during that time, but the new C922 Pro is here to carry the streaming torch. While it keeps the same form-factor that served the C920 so well, the C922 can capture 1080p video at 30 frames per second and 720p at 60 frames per second (the C920 was limited to 30 frames per second at 720p). The performance upgrade will definitely be welcome to Twitch and YouTube streamers as well as vloggers... Read more...
A good controller can really make or break a gaming experience, and Logitech is working to expand the breadth of its controller offerings. The company just acquired Saitek and its line of line of flight, farm and space simulation game controllers. Logitech offers three reasons for the acquisition. Logitech claims that they have even see Saitek fans in their own forums. Second, Logitech believes... Read more...
Why wield multiple keyboards for different devices when you can have one that works with them all? That's the idea behind Logitech's K780 Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard (just K780 from here on out), a fully-equipped PC plank with a 10-key pad that also works on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, all connected at the same time. Simultaneous connections on a keyboard can be a bit tricky. To prevent what you're typing on your PC from appearing on your iPad and Galaxy S7 handset (or whatever tablet and phone you're rocking), there are three Easy-Switch buttons that let you toggle between... It's still relatively early in the smart home movement that's been making headway into the mainstream market and that means there's a ton of untapped potential for creative and innovative solutions. One of them was just introduced by Logitech—it's the Pop Home Switch, or basically a programmable button that can control multiple smart home devices. You can program up to three different action sequences in each switch, which in turn are initiated by a single press, double press, or a long press. For example, you might program a single press to turn lighting on or off, a double press to lock the doors,... Read more...
Whether you have a $10,000 beast of a gaming rig or a hand me down that isn't any more powerful than a toaster, having the right input devices can make a significant improvement in your work and play. Mice in particular come in all shapes and sizes to meet anyone's comfort and performance needs. That bargain bin mouse may be fine for browsing cat pictures, but its cheap sensor and total lack of ergonomics may be holding you back from pwning n00bs like you deserve. To help step your game up we're checking out three new mice that recently slid across our desk: Tesoro's Sagitta Spectrum H6L Gaming... What’s better than a single Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum mechanical keyboard? 160 of them of course! And that’s exactly what was on display at PAX East 2016, where Logitech had on a display of G810 keyboards that were connected together to form what was affectionately known as the Great Wall of Logitech G. Production company iam8bit purposefully laser-etched each keyboard’s the keys to allow more light to shine through, thus giving us all a great opportunity to witness this massive 10ft x 15ft 8-bit display (10 rows, 16 columns) which was used to not only showcase images, but also messages to show... Whoever the Einstein was that declared this a "post PC era" needs talk to the gamers and enthusiasts that flocked to Boston Convention And Exhibition Center this weekend for the sold-out PAX East show. And in good ol' Bean Town, the Murphys might dropkick that genius for being overly impaired and "ship him off" promptly. In a record attendance of around 90,000 or so, there was plenty of console gaming going on, as well as mobile gaming on tablets and smartphones, and even board games but nothing compared to the crowds flocking around booths from major PC manufacturers and ecosystem partners like... When it comes to video conferencing, Logitech knows a thing or two about what consumers and businesses want. Logitech is the #1 player in the webcam market and is the #2 player when it comes to conference room video collaboration (VC) systems. We’re certain that Logitech would like to take the #1 position in the VC market as well, and it’s making a run for the top position with its latest offering, the GROUP. The Logitech GROUP was designed to enable HD video conferencing with up to 10 people. However, that number can be expanded to 20 if businesses spring for optional expansion microphones so...
