The PlayStation 4 is nearing the end of its reign as the flagship current-generation gaming console from Sony. The company has already been talking up its PS5 game console and had promised that the PS5 would have an appealing price considering its performance. While the PS5 is on the way, the PS4 is still selling reasonably well, despite sales slowing somewhat. Sony's latest earnings report had some PS4 tidbits buried inside, and it was revealed that the console has now sold over 100 million units. Sony said that it sold 3.2 million PS4 consoles between March 31 and June 30 after announced that 96.8 million units had been sold to date in the previous quarter. With sales numbers for... Origin PC has finally unleashed the successor to its original "Big O" gaming machine that debuted way back in 2010. The new Big O combines a badass gaming PC with the internals from an Xbox One X and a PlayStation 4 Pro. In addition, there's also a slot incorporated into the chassis to slide in a Nintendo Switch to complete the console gaming trifecta. The donor Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro are removed from their plastic enclosures and mounted vertically... Read more...

Sony first announced that the ability to change your Online ID was coming last October. That online ID change service is now available, and that means if gamers initially picked a silly call sign, and now want a new name you can now get one. The online ID can be changed via a web browser for those who find that faster. When the name change feature was first announced, Sony was clear... Read more...

One of the most frustrating things for tech fans is when the games or products they pay hard earned money for don't work as promised, and the manufacturer won't even admit there is a problem. Sony has allegedly been giving some Anthem players refunds while denying others. While the issue is still not fixed and the problems haven't been addressed, EA has at least stepped up and admitted that there is a problem with Anthem crashing on the PS4. Electronic Arts is having serious issues with Anthem right now, and many gamers are not happy at all. However, players are reporting that Sony has given them refunds for the game. Other PS4 gamers have also claimed that they have been given refunds on the game with one user indicating they told customer support chat that they were concerned about the game bricking their console and Anthem was a defective product. However, there are reports from... Read more...
Each year when E3 rolls around, we are never sure exactly what will be at the show. Companies come and go from the gaming event as it has shrunk over the years from its heyday where virtually every major gaming company used to participate. At E3 2019 we already know that Sony and the PlayStation crew won't be attending the show. Without the pressure of having to compete with Sony, many wondered if that meant that Microsoft and the Xbox group would skip the show as well. Well, Microsoft Executive VP Of Gaming, Phil Spencer has stepped up and made Microsoft's presence and participation at E3 2019 this year very clear. Spencer has stated in an interview with Larry Hyrb, that the Xbox presence at... Read more...
