As with many Fortnite weekly challenges, the hardest part for some of them is finding where you're supposed to go. This week, one of the big challenges is for players to find Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, and Rainbow Rentals and do a little dance. The exact locations where players need to get their groove on are unmarked on the map. However, we've conjured a map below that shows where you can find each of the three locations. Lake Canoe has about 50 canoes in the area, making it easy to identify. The map below shows that it's on the East side of the island not far from The Grotto and the Dirty Docks. Camp Cod is in the southeastern part of the map and is a large island southeast of Misty Meadows. Rainbow... Read more...

These challenges allow players to rank up and unlock rewards like new. A significant change has been announced for Fortnite via the official Fortnite Status Twitter page. The tweet says that the "Use Legacy Look Controls" setting will be removed from the game on March 13. For players who are currently using that setting, they will need to go into the new settings and maintain their legacy sensitivities by selecting the "Copy from Legacy" option in the Controller Options and then toggle off "Use Legacy Look Controls." As for why Epic Games is making the change in Fortnite, it has to do with players playing with the gamepad being able to track hidden players using something the community calls left trigger spam. The changes are a move to improve the competitive balance... Read more...
As the number of publishers pulling out of NVIDIA's GeForce NOW cloud game streaming service continues to grow, the company has found an ally in Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, who vowed on Twitter to "wholeheartedly" support the company's efforts. He also took potshots at Apple and Google over the royalty rate each one charges on their respective app stores. "Epic is wholeheartedly supporting NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW service with Fortnite and with Epic Games Store titles that choose to participate (including exclusives), and we’ll be improving the integration over time," Sweeney wrote. He also called GeForce NOW "the most developer-friendly and publisher-friendly of the major streaming... Read more...
It's Friday, which can only mean one thing: more Deadpool challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2. Deadpool is a hot property right now thanks no doubt to Ryan Reynolds’ pitch perfect encapsulation of the wisecracking Marvel superhero, and Epic Games is taking full advantage of that popularity. This week, Deadpool is actually fully visible in the open in his secret bathroom hideout (last week, we could just see his feet under the closed bathroom stall door). Deadpool can be seen sitting on his epic mound of [thankfully unused] toilet paper in front of his computer. Not surprisingly, he's playing Fortnite with a controller in-hand. If you click on the computer itself, you'll... Read more...

Fortnite fans know that Deadpool is now merrily a part of the game for Chapter 2, Season 2. However, to be able to unlock the Deadpool skin, players need to complete a series of challenges each week with those challenges handed out by the foul-mouthed superhero himself, or at least by his computer. The first challenge this week is finding a letter that Deadpool wrote to Epic Games. The letter can be found in Deadpool's secret lair, which can be accessed from the battle pass screen. When on the battle pass screen, the characters are sitting around in what appears to be an evil super hero or villain hideout from a James Bond movie. Near the staircase to the right is a duct with a fan in it that... Read more...

In order to get the most of your Battle Pass, you'll want to land at each of the following locations: Apres Ski, Mount Kay, and Lokie's Lighthouse. First let's discuss Apres Ski. It's a ski lodge that would be the perfect place to stop if you've got ants in your pants, or simply want to hang out and partake in the 24-7 dance party taking place inside. It's located roughly southwest of Misty Meadows in the southern portion of the map. The second location is Mount Kay, which should be familiar to you from previous Chapter 2 challenges. It is located east of Misty Meadows, and... Read more...

A new trailer for Chapter 2 has been published, giving us a look at what the season will bring, including the man with the gold hands. The trailer for the season essentially shows characters who are turning into agents to answer the call of the man with the gold hands. One interesting thing of note is at about 47 seconds in the trailer when the cat-like creature covered in leaves moves away from the tree; you get a quick glimpse of Deadpool carved into the tree along with an interesting circle with a number "7" inside it and three stick figures along with four question... Ahead of the official launch, many fans are wondering what exactly the new season will bring. The new advertisements feed into that speculation. The advertisements have turned up on large outdoor displays in Brazil, Japan, and France and play a short animation. Some ads have a phone number attached; but what they all have in common is a gold handprint and gold bars that redact some of the text in the ads. Naturally, fans of Fortnite called... Read more...
It looks as though Fortnite is about to get some more DC character lovin' in the form of a badass Harley Quinn skin. It should come as no surprise that Harley Quinn would be making an appearance given Epic Games' penchant for including superhero crossovers and the fact that the film Birds of Prey is soon to theaters this week. In addition to her iconic outfits, gamers can also choose to equip her with a baseball bat or a mallet instead of the standard pickaxe. All of this info comes from famed Fortnite leaker Lucas7yoshi who gleaned the data from game files. It's highly likely that the new Harley Quinn skin will arrive tomorrow, February 6th. Judging by the challenges that have been... Read more...
Fortnite fans know that Season 2 Chapter 1 is drawing to a close, and to keep players entertained, Epic Games has unveiled some new challenges this week. The challenges are part of the Cameo Vs. Chic mission set and the first of the missions is catching something with a fishing rod at different locations around the map. And of course, Fortnite map locations where players have to catch their items, ironically enough, are where there are "No Fishing" signs. The hardest part of this mission, like most missions requiring players to perform specific actions in specific locations, is finding the locations. The map attached below shows the location of the "No Fishing" signs for players to go and... Read more...

When Epic Games launched Fortnite, the game took the world by storm and has remained one of the most popular video games available. Fortnite is notable because it is a free-to-play title with players paying for skins and other items in the game. Despite the game itself costing nothing, Fortnite was the top-earning game of the year. This achievement came despite its revenue dropping 25% compared to the past year. Fortnite raked in $1.8 billion in 2019, which was a decline compared to the $2.4 billion the game earned in 2018. While Fortnite's revenue declined for the year, digital games revenue did grow overall in 2019, reaching $109.4 billion, a gain of 3% year-over-year. The data comes... Read more...
