Gamers and fans of Apex Legends aren't at all happy with EA and Respawn Entertainment right now. The pricing structure for the skins and other items in the Iron Crown event has angered players and heaped ire onto the developers of the game. Players are angry because it costs about 700 Apex coins to open a loot box for the chance to get the skin you want. That means if you pay until you unlock all the cosmetics, it would cost you $154 and then you have the chance to buy the heirloom set for another 3500 coins. Respawn has made a statement about the Iron Crown event where it promises to rotate the legendary items that are exclusive to the game into the store, so players can buy them directly... Read more...

Valve maintained at the time that the reduction in workers didn't mean it was abandoning the VR space. In addition to the 13 Valve employees who were terminated, Valve also shed some contractors by not renewing their contracts. We have now learned that among those contractors let go were Richard Garfield and Skaff Elias. Garfield and Elias are two of the people who make up the consulting company called Three Donkeys and are the creators of the Valve game Artifact. Valve teased the launch of Artifact back in the summer of 2017. Garfield talked about being let go, noting... Read more...

Way back in the day all anyone wanted for Christmas was a Nintendo Entertainment System. If you were lucky enough to get that NES, you undoubtedly wanted the Super Mario Bros. cartridge to go with it. Hoards of those video games were sold, and while we didn't know it at the time, the game would go on to be one of the most beloved video games ever made. While you could find the standard retail boxed version of Super Mario Bros. in just about any store that sold video games, there were a pair of incredibly rare versions of the game made. These versions are so rare because instead of being sealed in shrink wrap as the games usually were, there were sold in boxes sealed with a sticker. Only two of... Read more...

Amazon has made it so that users of the Amazon Fire TV with the pendant design can no longer use the official Amazon Fire TV Game Controller. The controller is incompatible with the Fire TV device after the latest 6.2.5.3 software update for the third-generation device is applied. Scuttlebutt suggests that the Fire TV Cube will also soon lose support for the gamepad. This move wasn't an accident with a new disclaimer at the bottom of the page for the Fire TV Game Controller that reads "not compatible with Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD - Pendant Design, Fire TV Edition smart TVs, or Fire TV Cube." That leaves the only device that is compatible with the Fire TV Game Controller as the Fire TV Stick.... Read more...
