Romero has announced this week that SIGIL has been delayed and is now scheduled to ship in April. As for the cause of the delay, Romero says that there was a complication with the physical editions of SIGIL. In the official statement on the delay Romero said there were a "few... Read more...

Scuttlebutt suggests that the Fire TV Cube will also soon lose support for the gamepad. Star Citizen is a game that has lured gamers that like simulations games to explore the depths of space and blow up fellow explorers for years now. The game made the news back in December of 2016 when the devs made the decision to dump Crytek's CryEngine and move the entire game over to Amazon Lumberyard. That move resulted in a suit for breach of contract being brought against Cloud Imperium Games by Crytek the following year. Star Citizen is in the news again for an insanely expensive in-game purchase that only the well-heeled will be able to afford. The in-game purchase is essentially a ready-made... Read more...

Batman Arkham Knight is here, and as we're sure most of you have heard, the game is no-longer for sale for the PC platform currently, due to a flood of performance issues. WB Games has pulled the title from store shelves, both physical and digital copies. Can you say “Holy botched game launch, Batman?” We usually don’t start a piece with such negativity. It's not the most engaging story setup, yet this time it’s really hard not to call a duck and duck, with regard to this release. If it walks like a duck... Well, you know the old adage, but is there more to Batman: Arkham Knight that might be redeeming... Read more...

A good sign that you've managed to pull off something impressive is when even your arch nemesis is surprised at your accomplishment. That's how it went when Microsoft made the shocking announcement at E3 that Xbox One will be able to natively play Xbox 360 titles later this year. When apprised of the news, rival Sony could only offer props to Microsoft's engineering feat."It was surprising," admitted Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida. "I didn't think it was possible. There must be lots of engineering effort. They talked about 100 games, but what kind of games will be included. Is... Read more...
There were lots of juicy bits at this year's E3 convention, among them a full five minutes of actual gameplay footage from the third installment in the Star Wars Battlefront series. What makes this trailer so exciting is that the gameplay is plucked from a PlayStation 4, as opposed to renders made with the game engine or cutscenes that don't actually depict gameplay graphics. It's a wild five-minute ride filled with TIE fighters, X-Wings (which you get to fly, by the way), AT-ATs, AT-STs, rebel troopers, stormtrooopers, lasers, lightsabers, and, well, you get the point. When... Read more...
