Xbox gamers know that Microsoft is working on its Project xCloud game streaming service that's expected to launch later this year as part of the Xbox Game Pass. The coolest part about that service is that it will allow gamers to stream titles they would typically play on the console to their smartphone. As Microsoft is gearing up for that launch, accessory makers are also getting ready with controllers meant for use with portable devices. One such controller is this 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro designed for the xCloud game streaming service on Android devices. The 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro can be preordered on Amazon right now for $44.99 and is available with free Prime shipping on September 21. The controller is arranged... Read more...
The Nintendo Switch Lite has been a surprise hit with gamers as a successful follow-up to the original Nintendo Switch (which itself was quite the blockbuster at launch). The Switch Lite is a more robust device that ditches the detaching Joy-Cons, kickstand and ability to dock with a TV. However, gamers do get a smaller and lighter device, a slightly smaller display with greater pixel density, and a $100 price cut (making it $199). Now, the folks at 8BitDo are looking to build on the Switch Lite hype with the new 8BitDo Lite controller. Like the portable game console that it will be paired with, the 8BitDo Lite is diminutive in size and brings with it most of the functionality that... Read more...

Unless you somehow missed the news this morning, the Nintendo NES Classic Edition is back in stock at many stores across the United States. If you can't find the retro console online, we hear that many brick and mortar Walmart locations have the console in stock.  However, if you manage to snag one of the consoles, which have out-of-production for well over a year, one of the first disappointments that you will run into revolves around the fact that the included controller has an incredibly short cord. While that may have been appropriate in the days when sat on the floor in front of our boob tubes to play Super Mario Bros., that just won't fly in today’s world of massive... Read more...

The set comes with a Bluetooth adapter that plugs directly into the console, and includes the NES30, which is a wireless replica of the original NES controller. One added bonus with this particular controller is that pressing the Down and Select buttons... Read more...
