Yesterday was the big unveil of the Fortnite x Batman crossover, and today the new challenges that go with that crossover are live. One of the challenges is to light up three different Bat Signals outside of Gotham City. As with many challenges, the hard part is finding them. The map below shows the locations of all the bat signals on the island. Bat Signal Locations The fastest way to knock out this challenge would be to go to the north-west section of the map as it has the highest number of Bat Signals in the closest proximity to each other. That will likely mean more players looking to take you out too. Activating the Bat Signal requires you to get close and then follow the prompt to press... Read more...

Epic Games is now dishing up its v10.31 patch for Fortnite, and while it is relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, there are some interesting tidbits. Among the highlights is a new Party Hub feature. The Party Hub is available on mobile and brings cross-platform voice chat to the mix, as well as being able to see which friends are online and start a party. For now, communication via Party Hub is restricted to voice chat—players are not able to message their friends. However, Epic Games says "work is in progress" to add the ability to message friends through the Party Hub. That said, players who are not in a match are able to voice chat with friends who are in matches. Players can... Read more...
We're coming up to the three year anniversary of the mobile game Injustice: Gods Among Us, and to celebrate the occasion Samsung has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Entertainment to deliver a Batman themed version of its Galaxy S7 Edge. If you're a Batman fan, grab a rag and get ready to wipe up the drool. The Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition pairs one of the best (if not the best) smartphones on the planet with one of the most iconic comic book characters. If you're a Batman fan in need of a new handset, then 'nuff said, though there's more awesomesauce in this delectable pairing, including a bigger capacity battery for longer game play. Samsung also teases "enhanced hardware... Read more...
It’s hard for us to remember when the last time a game launch was fraught with so many problems. While the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Batman: Arkham Knight launched with little drama, the PC version of the game was riddled with bugs and performance issues right out of the starting gate. Warner Bros. was forced to pull the game from brick and mortar (and digital) store shelves while developer Rocksteady Studios worked on patching all of the holes in the game. Gamers saw a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel when Warner Bros. rereleased the game last week via Steam -- surely, after months in the repair shop, Batman: Arkham Knight would finally be fully polished for gamers... The story surrounding the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight for the PC might be as interesting as the story in the game itself. While it's not uncommon for any launch game to require a patch or have some unknown bugs, Arkham Knight took things to ridiculous levels - it was broken, plain and simple. That was so much the case, that WB Games took the rare route of pulling the game from the shelves. Even now, the game remains unavailable. Game developer Rocksteady continues to apologize to the fans it's let down, and vows to continue fixing bugs as quickly as it can. Once Rocksteady and affiliated parties agree that the game has reached an appropriate level of quality, it will once again... Read more...
WB Games announced this week that that gamers who bought the Batman: Arkham Knight season pass will soon be getting the first story-driven downloadable content. The expanded content, called Batgirl: A Matter of Family, brings new missions to the table, but its real draw is Batgirl, who is joining the Dark Knight as a playable character for the first time in Batman: Arkham history. Batgirl: A Matter of Family brings some new features to the game, including Dual Play take-down maneuvers with Robin. WB Games Montreal developed the Batgirl content, but Rocksteady Studios will develop remaining content for the Season Pass, WB said in a statement. Batman: Arkham... Read more...

Batman Arkham Knight is here, and as we're sure most of you have heard, the game is no-longer for sale for the PC platform currently, due to a flood of performance issues. WB Games has pulled the title from store shelves, both physical and digital copies. Can you say “Holy botched game launch, Batman?” We usually don’t start a piece with such negativity. It's not the most engaging story setup, yet this time it’s really hard not to call a duck and duck, with regard to this release. If it walks like a duck... Well, you know the old adage, but is there more to Batman: Arkham Knight that might be redeeming in some way? That launch was an epic fail. I must recover with solid game play and story line.Currently,... Read more...

For now, when you preorder, you also get the playable Harley Quinn add-on and can play as the newest baddie in the Rocksteady Batman world. “Become Harley Quinn for the first time ever in an Arkham game and utilize her unique weapons, gadgets, and abilities first-hand,” reads the preorder site. “The add-on includes four exclusive challenge maps.” There’s also an amazing-looking trailer here that shows both Harley Quinn and Two Face as your primary foes. All the usual suspects are offering the title,... Read more...
If you’ve been bashing bad guy heads in the moody Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City epics, it’s time to take a step back – in time, that is. The newest Batman video game takes you back to the events and people who come to shape the city Batman defends, and Batman himself. As you can imagine, there is a lot more action when Batman faces a test of his character than when you spot a dropped wallet at the grocery store. Batman will be facing off with young, evil types, including the Penquin and (of course) the Joker, thanks to a bounty on his head. And you’ll be working with some new tools in your utility belt, as well. Time Warner’s Batman: Arkham Origins... Read more...
ASUS has some announcements brewing for Computex in a few days, and they’re teasing with the slogan “WeTransform”. Presumably, this has something to do with the company’s Transformer line of tablets, and/or possibly with some convertible PCs. Or perhaps we’re reading into the slogan wrong. Whatever the announcements end up being, we’ll know for sure in 2 days, 11 hours, and (at the moment) 49 minutes and 53 seconds when the press conference begins. In the meantime, ASUS posted a teaser on Google+ that consists of an Android-themed Batman toy that almost looks like a refugee from LEGO Batman. The toy doesn’t apparently “do” anything, but you... We've already given you some pretty groovy gift ideas for the holiday season, but perhaps the coolest item that will be up for grabs is the original 1966 TV Batmobile owned by George Barris. It's actually a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car that was heavily modified for the live action TV series starring Adam West (Batman) and Burt Ward (Robin). It also appeared in a movie adaptation. "Still as striking as when it first came out of the paint shop, the original Batmobile has been a part of Barris’ personal collection since he first bought it from the Ford Motor Company for a dollar in 1965. Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction will mark the first time the car has gone up for sale since... Read more...
Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of the top hits of 2009... The best news about Batman: Arkham City is that it's a sequel that lives up to and even surpasses the original. AC's virtual world is roughly 5x larger than the environments of Arkham Asylum, but much smaller than a full-scale implementation of Gotham would've been. Arkham City is a great game, period. It neatly refines, improves, and extends the original concepts; it's clear that the developers took the source material and elements seriously and set out to build a work of art. They did so. By all rights, Batman: Arkham City is Game of the Year material. Unfortunately, what should have been a great experience has been substantially diluted... Read more...
