Topic: HTPC suggestions   Go to last post
Posted: Tuesday, March 05, 2019 9:43:58 PM(UTC)
Just moved to my university dorm and I'm thinking to build an HTPC for all of the guys that are with me in the room so that everyone can take advantage of it. But I have very limited space to work with hence why I'm thinking to go to the the mini itx route, throw your best suggestions for the best mini itx build, I'm either thinking to go to the prebuilt route and get an origin SFF pc, or save up for future and make a custom budget HTPC PC, but I'm facing a personal dilemma on which case should I get if I go for the custom PC route, these options [NO LINKS PLEASE! THX] look good but can't seem to narrow down a single case in that list too. Lets have a fruitful discussion here on my situation. Thanks!

9700k is a newer and better CPU and futureproof too. If you do not tend to upgrade your pc for years then just get 9700k.

I have been using AMD cards for a while now. Still using Fury X. They really are great cards for gaming under low budget.

You will not get any better motherboard than what you have in that budget. Better save and go for something like MSI Pro Carbon series. Or you can buy a Ryzen processor and x470 motherboard for that. They are going really cheap nowadays

Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero is the best AM4 motherboard out there.

Trident Z Rgb CL14, best ram for Ryzen.

Also if you have a budget you can go for new Asus AIOs. They are really great for overclocking.
