During E3 2018, one of the coolest game projects that was talked about came from CD Projekt Red and a title called Cyberpunk 2077. The devs rolled out a demo of the game that was 50 minutes long that had a mockup of the character creation system in it. In that creation system was a pair of generic male and female avatars on a blue background, both completely nude. The character's genitalia was covered by pixelated boxes in the demo and that was done for the E3 demo only. In the final version of the game that launches for players, those boxes are expected to be removed. Why the boxes in the... Read more...
PC gamers and console gamers are sometimes rivals, with each camp touting their platform as the best. We all know #PCMasterRace is where it's at of course. If you venture to E3 it certainly seems as if consoles are the platform that most developers and publishers focus on. Sure, many of the games that you see at E3 are offered on PC, but it's rare to see the PC platform take the forefront in any of the keynotes at the show. However, as in years past, PC gamers got their own show at their own venue that ran concurrently with E3 called the PC Gaming Show. There were some very cool games talked about... Read more...

E3 has kicked off and EA's press conference has gone down giving us an idea of what the publisher and its developers are working on. EA talked about some big games at the conference including a new Star Wars title, a sequel to Unravel, and a glimpse at the highly anticipated BioWare game Anthem that lands next February. We learned last week that Crackdown 3 for the Xbox had been delayed and is expected to launch in February as well. The rub with E3's conference for those hoping for something new is that all of the big games were already known. Perhaps the most anticipated game EA talked... Read more...
Gamers have been patiently waiting for the next game in the Crackdown franchise. Crackdown 3 is the next installment and last summer the game was expected to launch alongside the Xbox One X, but that didn’t happen. Instead, the game was delayed with Sumo Digital and Microsoft pushing the title to a promised spring 2018 launch. Microsoft has confirmed another delay for Crackdown 3, and now promises that the game will launch in February 2019. At least this time out Microsoft has given a specific release month rather than a vague "this fall" or "this spring." Microsoft has also promised that... Read more...

It appears that Bethesda has some new Fallout-themed gaming in store for us at this year's E3. The company posted a tweet this morning with a "Please Stand By" image, which we all by now know means that the release will be Fallout tinged. Given that the only text in the tweet is #PleaseStandBy, we can only speculate at this point as to what this teaser means. The most obvious answer could be that Bethesda is planning to port Fallout 4 to the Nintendo Switch. Fallout 4 was released two and a half years ago for the PC, Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. #PleaseStandBy pic.twitter.com/5IUjkURCcM—... Read more...
E3 2018 will be here before you know it and ahead of the big show, some details are surfacing that give an idea of what Ubisoft will be bringing to the massive gaming industry party. The Nintendo Switch has been a sales blockbuster, which is a much needed “win” for the Japanese game company following the disappointed of its immediate predecessor: the Wii U. Given the excitement surrounding the Switch, which is still sold out at retailers across the United States, it should come as no surprise that the console will be the main focus of Nintendo’s upcoming E3 festivities. This time around, all eyes will be on Super Mario Odyssey, which marks the first sandbox-type Mario game since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Mario fans were definitely excited when the first trailer... Read more...
Listen up, gaming fans! Microsoft has announced the start time for its E3 media briefing, and it breaks from recent tradition. Microsoft usually holds its event on Monday morning during E3, however, this year the company has moved the event up to Sunday, June 11th at 5PM EST. This gives Microsoft a little bit more breathing room to distance itself from Sony, which usually holds its event on Monday evening. Microsoft’s schedule shakeup isn’t the only major change going on at E3 this year. It was announced last week that 2017 marks the first time that the public will be able to mingle... Read more...

Starting Monday, February 13th, ESA will make 15,000 tickets available for sale to the public. The first 1,000 “Early Birds” will be able to purchase a ticket for $149. The remaining 14,000 will have to fork over $249... Read more...
Xbox One rumors are flying around like crazy today, and if the reports are accurate, we have a lot to look forward to from the Xbox hardware division over the next year. The first product supposedly on tap is a new Xbox One Slim, which is due to break cover at this year’s E3. This console will reportedly be smaller and thinner than the current Xbox One and will include a larger 2TB hard drive. With the exception of the downsized external dimensions and the larger HDD, all of the other key hardware specs are expected to remain largely the same. It’s also being reported that this console will be... Read more...
