We saw a familiar trend in the Crytek Neon Noir benchmark. At both resolutions, the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition and EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra slotted in just behind the
GeForce RTX 3090, but well ahead of the RTX 3080 and Radeon RX 6900 XT.

Metro Exodus is based on author Dmitry Glukhovsky's series of Metro novels that started with Metro 2033 back in 2005. The first installment in the series was Metro 2033, which was then followed by Metro Last Light (and later, Last Light Redux). Like other games in the series, Metro Exodus follows a post-apocalyptic story line that takes place in the former Russian Federation. Using the Ultra quality preset in Metro Exodus, the performance trend we've seen through most of our other tests played out again -- the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards outran every other GPU we tested, at both resolutions, save for the powerful GeForce RTX 3090.
When using the RTX preset (which enables
DXR ray tracing effects) in this game, framerates drop across the board, but the pecking order doesn't change. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards continue to kick some tail and clearly lead when ray tracing is brought into the mix.

Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 is the third entry in the Red Dead series. The game’s storyline is set in 1899 and follows outlaw Arthur Morgan of the Van der Linde gang in a fictional wild-west type setting. The game features rich, detailed graphics, which can be taxing on high-performance GPUs, when cranked up to maximum image quality.
The
Radeon RX 6900 XT was able to eek out a victory over the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards at 1440p here. With the resolution cranked up to 4K, however, NVIDIA's latest flagship comes roaring back and -- once again -- slots in just behind the GeForce RTX 3090.

Gears Tactics is a turn-based tactical game spun-off of the popular Gears of War franchise. Technically, Gears Tactics is a prequel to the first game, but it was just recently released. Like
Gears 5, Gears Tactics features a wide array of graphics options that can be tweaked and tuned to optimize performance on a given system.

We know we are starting to sound like a broken record at this point, but the numbers are what they are. In Gears Tactics, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards can't quite catch the GeForce RTX 3090, but they do outrun every other card we tested at both resolutions.

FarCry New Dawn is somewhat CPU limited at 1440p (bring on FarCry 6!), so we're not going to dwell on those results. With the resolution cranked up to 4K though, we have a bit of a coup, with the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition actually sneaking in a victory over the 3090, though the EVGA cards slots into its familiar position, just behind it.

F1 2020 is Codemaster’s latest Formula One racing simulation, and like previous version of the game, it sports impressive visuals. This latest addition to the franchise supports DirectX11 or DirectX 12, and it incorporated support for a number of AMD's
FidelityFX technologies -- though we didn't enable any of them to keep the playing field level. We tested the game with its Ultra High graphics preset with TAA enabled at a couple of resolutions to see what the graphics cards could do.
F1 2020
The Radeon RX 6900 XT performs very well in F1 2020 and is able to trade blows with the GeForce RTX 3090 at the top of heap. However, the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti cards are not far behind though.
