No great video game would be complete without a memorable soundtrack and the highly anticipated The Last of Us Part II will be no exception. The Last of Us Part II will feature Pearl Jam’s song “Future Days.” The song will be used several times throughout the game to highlight the relationship between Joel and Ellie. Pearl Jam’s “Future Days” was initially released as part of their 2013 album Lightning Bolt. The lyrics focus on a deep, personal relationship. Are we having fun yet? E3 has not been a disappointment, with many of the big names coming out and announcing new games, products, and services. Count Sony among them. Fans of The Last of Us will be interested to know that developer Naughty Dog is working on a sequel for the PlayStation 4 console, and Sony showed off a gameplay trailer that lasted nearly 12 minutes long. Whether you are familiar with the original game or not, it's worth checking out. The trailer is primarily focused on Ellie, who is again played by actress and singer Ashley Johnson. Developer Naughty Dog has been a naughty dog, indeed. Publisher Sony announced today yet another delay for Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which is now slated to ship exclusively to PlayStation 4 consoles on May 10, 2016. On the bright side, it's only a two-week delay from its previously announced ship date, though this is the third time the game's release has been pushed back. Naughty Dog and Sony originally hoped to launch Uncharted 4 in 2015 but the need for more development time led to its release being pushed back to March 18, 2016. It looks as though PlayStation 4 gamers will have to wait at least another year before getting to spend some hands-on time with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, the PS4 exclusive that was initially slated to debut sometime this year. Neil Druckmann, creative director of the game's development studio Naughty Dog, announced in a Sony blog post today that it's delaying the title until Spring 2016. Druckmann said that as more of the game and story line came together, it became increasingly clear that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is a more ambitious project than Naughty Dog originally envisioned.
