Benchmarks and Comparisons With Doom 3 (Continued)

The first round of Doom 3 focused on Single-Player performance. Now we'll run a round of multiplayer tests and see how things unfold. These tests were taken with our custom "HH_Frag2" demo, which is a recording of a 5 player on line match in the "Frag Chamber" map area.
With mulitplayer Doom 3, we saw higher frame rates coming out of all 3 cards tested, but the margins were similar to that of the single player tests. Once again the GeForce 6600 GT was in a class by itself, stealing the X600 XT's thunder and demonstrating superior value-class performance across the board.
