HP EliteBook 840 And 830 G5 Review: Aluminum-Clad Powerhouses
Futuremark’s well-known 3DMark benchmark suite features tests that target different types of computing devices. We opted for the Cloud Gate and Sky Diver tests, for which we have plenty of comparison data, but also as light-duty 3D graphics and gaming benchmarks that are well-suited to thin and light laptops. Sky Diver is a bit more strenuous, but still well within the limits of our test group.
In Cloud Gate, the HP EliteBook G5 performed exactly were we expected it to. It wasn't the fastest laptop on the market, but the integrated Intel UHD 620 was outpaced only by laptops with a discrete GPUs. While you might not be able to crank up all the in-game setting, you should be able to do a bit of light duty gaming on this machine.
