Corsair RGB Gaming Mouse Round-Up: M55, Glaive Pro, Nightsword, Ironclaw Tested

Corsair RGB Gaming Mouse Round-Up: Introducing Four New Devices

You've just finished meticulously routing cables in your new battlestation and are basking in the subtle glow of RGB LEDs, but your setup is not ready yet. Your old generic mouse has served you well, but its bargain-bin sensor is holding you back. Your crosshairs are unsteady and trying to select individual units is frustrating. Worst of all, it disrupts the svelte aesthetics of your new rig. Fortunately, Corsair has recently released a family of gaming mice with something to fit anyone's needs and budget. These newest additions are the ambidextrous M55 RGB Pro, the shape-shifting Glaive RGB Pro, the weight-tunable Nightsword RGB, and the free-roaming Ironclaw Wireless RGB -- all of which we will be covering here.

The M55 RGB Pro is the most basic option of the bunch, but basic does not mean it skimps on features. Its highlights include a contoured ambidextrous design, a total of 8 programmable mouse buttons, and on-the-fly DPI cycling.

The Glaive RGB Pro targets users who want more control over the comfort of their mouse. It provides three magnetically swappable thumb grips to alter its shape. Two of the options allow you to choose between a wider or narrower grip while the third features a full winged thumb rest. This can be a nice feature for indecisive gamers or shared workstations, but most users will probably find the thumb grip that works for them and stick to it.

Three of the weights are 2.8 grams and the other three are 4.5 grams. According to Corsair, there are 120 possible unique weight arrangements possible. The Nightsword can vary from its base weight of 119g up to 141g when fully loaded.
