Computex 2010 Wrap-up

In our opinion, Computex 2010 was a big success. Although it lacked any huge, game-changing revelations within the PC components market, we found that many companies are moving forward with their business strategies at a healthy pace, which reflects growth of the global economy. This is particularly good news for enthusiasts like you and us, who have come to expect near-constant new technology releases that enhances the entertainment experience, whether it be on the internet, in videos, or gaming.

For the rest of this year, through 2011, the tablet PC finally seems set to take the industry by storm. Much like the netbook craze that Asus started a few years ago, companies are jumping into this new category that Apple's iPad has surprisingly rejuvenated. We saw more than a dozen tablets on the the show floor and fully expect models like the Asus Eee Pad or MSI Wind Pad to challenge the already established iPad.
