We're always on the lookout for hot deals on Apple's AirPods Pro, as they are among the best wireless earbuds on the market with active noise cancellation. The main problem with the AirPods Pro is that they launched at a relatively hefty $249. The wireless headsets regularly go on sale for $199, but Staples is taking things even further today with a price tag of just $179, although there's a catch which we'll get to later. Apple yesterday made a somewhat surprising cancellation in its hardware lineup. The HomePod smart speaker initially launched in early 2018 and was never the big sales hit Apple expected. As a result, the HomePod is getting kicked out of the Apple family. Apple has struggled to get its foot in the door with the HomePod. When the smart speaker was first announced, it was priced at $349, and was later reduced to $299. However, it can regularly be found on sale for $199. But even that hasn't been enough to result in any meaningful market share for Apple. Apple is holding its iPhone 12 event later today (1pm EST to be exact), but serial leaker Evan Blass has already provided us with the first official photos of the smartphones (along with a bonus). The images don’t really tell us what we didn’t already know, but they at least confirm the design of the smartphones along with the colors that they will be available in. The 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will be available in Black, Blue, Green, (Product) Red, and White.
