The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra have barely been on the market for a month, and they're already being deeply discounted. We can't say that it's due to poor sales in particular this early in the game, but these discounts tend to be the case for most Samsung smartphones shortly after launch since the same happened with the Galaxy S20 family. In this case, Amazon is knocking $200 off the price of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which means that they now start at $799 and $1,099 respectively. Both smartphones are packing flagship-caliber features to justify their high price tags, but we can’t help but feel that this lower price point is more in... Read more...
We posted our coverage of the various announcements to come from Samsung’s most recent Galaxy Unpacked event as they unfolded on Wednesday. You should check out our coverage of the brand-new Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, along with the new Galaxy Tab S7 and other accessories if you happened to miss it earlier -- we're not going to rehash any of the technical details again here. Originally, we were scheduled to get our hands on some of the devices in time for Unpacked, but Tropical Storm Isaias had other plans for us and prevented a trip into Manhattan to meet with Samsung. Fortunately, the shipping gods were on our side and our Note 20 Ultra arrived only a few short hours after the... Read more...
With Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event just a few weeks away, it should come as no surprise that the leaks are starting to ramp up. In today’s case, we’re getting a great look at the new Galaxy Note 20. The Galaxy Note 20 is expected to be smaller than its Galaxy Note 20 Ultra sibling. And as we can see from the render, its display is completely flat (which is a break from what we typically have seen from the Note series in recent years) with small bezels all around. We can also clearly see a cutout for the selfie camera in the center-top of the display, along with a less elaborate camera array on the back. There are three cameras housed within a module that... Samsung this week announced that it is holding an "Unpacked" event on August 5th during which it will likely unveil the Galaxy Note 20 Series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Watch 3, and possible even the Galaxy Z Fold 2. One of those aforementioned devices is in leaking in full today, and that's the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Following the leak of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in a "copper" finish, Jimmy is Promo has posted a video of what appears to be a preproduction version of the device. Right off the bat, we can see that the smartphone carries the Samsung internal designation SM-N986U and navigating through the user interface appears to be blazing fast (as you'd expect with a flagship Android device).... The Galaxy Note 20 family of smartphones are just over a month away from release, but it looks as though Samsung has already leaked images of the device. In this case, the alleged Galaxy Note 20 Ultra appeared on Samsung's Russian language website wearing a rather fetching copper-toned finish. We only get a glimpse of the device from the back and from the side, but we can see what looks to be two standard camera sensors along with a periscope zoom lens at the bottom of the rear camera pod. As for the copper/bronze finish, this was already confirmed by Ice Universe in a tweet earlier this morning. The color is also used for the device's S Pen. Interestingly enough, case images... A prominent leaker has spilled the beans on the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, posting some interesting specifications and a set of images, though probably not of the actual handset. They are actual product images, not renders or the usual crop of poor quality, blurry photographs that all too often adorn these kinds of leaks. However, the phone in the photos looks identical to the Galaxy Note 10. In any event, let's dive into it, shall we? There have been several leaks and rumors highlighting Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 series. Earlier this week, for example, it was posited that the regular Galaxy Note 20 would arrive with a display 'only' capable of hitting a 60Hz refresh rate, rather than going... Read more...
