Huawei P8 lite Review: Unlocked And Affordable

AnTuTu’s latest benchmark returns a number of scores—too many to graph so we’re including a look at all the numbers in a table. This test measures subsystem performance in various areas like Database IO, Storage IO, CPU (Int. and Float), GPU (3D), and RAM (speed).

Scores for the P8 lite in the AnTuTu test were a mixed bag, ranging from 5th place in the GPU (2D) test to nearly last place in the Database IO test where it topped the HTC One Max by a small margin. In addition to GPU (2D), the P8 lite also performed well in the RAM (Ops) test where it earned 6th place in comparison to other phones in our reference chart.

The MobileXPRT benchmark runs through a variety of tests to evaluate the responsiveness of a device along with its ability to handle many everyday workloads. The P8 lite reported an Overall score of 160, which is better than the Overall score from the Galaxy S4 and HTC One Max. All other comparison phones in this test earned higher Overall scores, some by a large margin. The variance for the User Experience Score is much smaller, and you’ll find the P8 lite closer to the median score in this test.

The P8 lite remains consistent in the GeekBench tests, again finding itself at the bottom of the comparison chart.
