CyberPower Syber Vapor PC Gaming Console Review
SiSoft SANDRA and Cinebench
First up, we ran the Syber Vapor through SiSoft SANDRA and Cinebench. The SiSoft suite offers as a range of diagnostic and system utilities, including several benchmarks. These tests are designed to test particular components, including the processor, memory, graphics card, and the computer's main storage device.
SiSoft SANDRA has a variety of tests that stress specific components or simulate certain tasks. We put the Alienware Alpha through the CPU Arithmetic, Multimedia, Memory Bandwidth, and Physical Disks tests. SANDRA receives frequent updates, so if you use the benchmark, check to make sure you have the latest version.
The Syber Vapor put up strong scores in SiSoft SANDRA's processor benchmarks that are right in line with where we would expect from a Core i5 4690K. They're not the fastest scores we've seen, but nor is the Haswell part the fastest CPU we've played with.
What's most impressive is the physical disk score of 528.27MB/s. That's a read speed metric of the Samsung 850 Evo Series 250GB SSD. Anything above 500MB/s represents a higher end SATA-based SSD.
Based on Maxon Cinema 4D software, this test uses a 3D scene and polygon and texture manipulation to assess GPU and CPU performance. We run the Main Processor Performance (CPU) test, which builds a still scene containing about 2,000 objects, for total polygon count above 300,000. We also run the OpenGL test.

Cinebench is a take-no-prisoners type of benchmark, as it's geared towards content creation and 3D modeling. The Syber Vapor scored 564 in the multi-threaded portion of the test and 151 in the single-thread portion. But it's the 126.24 frames per second in the OpenGL test that stands out, as it shows the strength of the GeForce GTX 970 graphics card.
