All of the shots that we’ve seen to date have been renders of the device, but these new real-life images give us a better look at... Read more...
The cat is out of the bag when it comes to Motorola’s upcoming Moto Z2 Force flagship. Although the smartphone has been leaked previously over the past few months, this latest info dump gives us a clear look at the smartphone front all angles, along with some pretty disappointing news that follows a recent trend with Motorola smartphones. First and foremost, we have confirmation that the Moto Z2 Force will retain its 5.5-inch QHD display which employs ShatterShield technology. We know that Motorola has a Moto Z2 Force flagship in the works, and it was widely expected that the smartphone would make its debut at the July 25th #hellomotoworld event. However, Motorola all but confirmed those suspicions with an official invite that was sent out for the event. The invite shows two smartphones with cracked screens, surround by broken glass. The tagline “get ready to shatter your expectations” more than confirms that this is reference to the Moto Z2 Force. If you recall, the original Moto Z Force came with ShatterShield technology for the simply. ShatterShield is comprised of... Read more...
Motorola has a big event scheduled for July 25th, and the Lenovo-backed company is set to unleash a number of new smartphones for the consumer market. Although we’ve seen numerous leaks concerning upcoming Motorola smartphones, there’s one that we haven’t heard much about: the Moto G5S Plus. Well-placed sources indicate that the Moto G5S Plus is a slightly larger version of the existing Moto G5 Plus. It is said to be a more premium device with higher quality materials and a larger display. While the Moto G5 and G5 Plus have 5-inch and 5.2-inch displays respectively, the Moto G5S Plus is said to... Read more...
For about the past year, Lenovo subsidiary Motorola has been concentrating on its flagship Moto Z line of smartphones. However, it is getting ready to end the calendar year with a new handset, one that will target the mid-range market. That phone is the Moto X4 (previously referred to as the Moto X 2017) and thanks to famed leaker Evan Blass (known as @evleaks on Twitter), we have our first real look at the device. Blass tweeted out what looks to be an official press rendering of the Moto X4. There are two things the leaked photo appear to confirm. One is an aluminum unibody design and the other... Read more...
For those of us that are used to traditional wireless plans from carriers like AT&T and Verizon, Google’s Project Fi is definitely a rather quirky alternative. The downside, however is that the number of smartphones that can be used with the service is very limited at this time. Right now, the only officially supported smartphones are the Nexus 5, Nexus 6P, Pixel and Pixel XL. However, that list will grow by [at least] one phone in the coming months according to Google. The internet giant tweeted out the following earlier this week: We hear you loud and clear. Keep an eye out for a new Fi-compatible... Read more...
Motorola announced the new Moto Z2 Play four weeks ago, and the new mid-range Android smartphone is now available to purchase. However, we hope that you like Verizon Wireless’ service, because that’s the only place where you’ll be able to find the smartphone… for now. Verizon customers can grab the phone for $0 down and pay $17 per month for 24 months, or they can just pay $408 upfront. This is a bit less than the $449 price that was tossed around when the smartphone was first announced. To sweeten the deal even further, Verizon will include the JBL SoundBoost 2 Moto Mod (MSRP $79.99) for free... Read more...

This incredible battery life is made possible by a 5,000 mAh battery that is backed by a quad-core processor and a 5.5-inch HD display. Motorola is ready to unleash the second generation of its flagship Moto Z family, and luckily, we’re getting a glimpse at what the device has in store. Leaked renders give us a good look at the smartphone from both the front and the back, and for obvious reasons, it doesn’t stray too far from the original winning formula. The biggest difference compared to its predecessor is the inclusion of dual cameras on the back instead of a single sensor. In addition, the “Force” designation means that the smartphone features Motorola’s “ShatterShield” technology, which the company says makes the display virtually... Read more...
The next Moto X may be coming to a store near you soon. Mobile reporter Evan Blass recently tweeted a few images promoting the “Moto X 2017” or “Moto X4”. The tweet revealed what is purportedly Lenovo’s phone roadmap. The image does not offer much, however, it does show that the Moto X4 will incorporate a 5.2-inch "3D glass" display and a "SmartCam”. A video leak posted to reddit also indicated that the Moto X4 will include a Snapdragon 660 processor, a hefty 3,800mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a fingerprint reader. Image from: Evan Blass, Twitter The image also unveiled new Moto... Read more...
Size matters, at least when it comes to smartphones. The Moto Z2 Play is rumored to be slimmer than its Z Play predecessor, but will sacrifice coveted battery life as a result. The device will also likely include an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 626. The Moto Z2 Play will be slightly under 6 millimeters in thickness and weigh in at 145 grams. The original Moto Z Play was a little under 7 millimeters and weighed 165 grams. Neither of these devices come close to the original Moto Z’s 5.19 millimeter thickness, however, Motorola is slowly inching its way back to this incredibly thin model. The original... Read more...
If you were a fan of the first-generation Moto Z Play, it appears that Lenovo/Motorola isn’t straying too far from that formula with its successor: the aptly named Moto Z2 Play. The original Moto Z Play wowed us with its epic battery life, which was attributed to its power-sipping Snapdragon 625 processor and its large 3510 mAh battery. According to leaked renders that are making the rounds on the internet, the Moto Z2 Play differs ever so slightly from its predecessor appearance wise. You’ll need a keen eye to spot the changes, which include a more oblong-shaped home button (which doubles as a... Read more...
