Moto X, Moto Hint And Moto 360 Pre-Order To Start Tuesday, 9/16
Motorola has a number of products launching within the next month, and it's making sure that we don't overlook any of them. The company's latest high-end smartphone, Moto X, will become available for pre-order beginning tomorrow, and as long as you're fine with going through AT&T, you'll be able to score it for $99.99. If you need it unlocked, then the "Pure Edition" is for you; it'll carry a price tag of $499.99.
One of the more interesting products Motorola's making available for pre-order tomorrow is its $149. 99 earbud. Yes - $149.99. Called Moto Hint, Motorola's promising an earbud that offers great sound, an even better aesthetic, and the ability to have "complete control" over your phone. Admittedly, it is a pretty attractive piece of kit, but that price is going to keep it pretty exclusive.
Also due soon is the Turbo Charger. Equipped with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology, this charger is able to add eight hours of battery-life to the Moto X in a mere fifteen minutes. By all appearances, this charger could be used on any mobile device, but those metrics only apply to the Moto X specifically. What's most interesting about this charger to me is that it'll retail for only $34.99 - that seems quite good given its promises.
Motorola is taking advantage of these upcoming pre-orders to let you know of two more things: The Moto 360 is back in stock as of Tuesday, and its trade-in program still exists. Through it, you'll be able to send in your old device and then receive a Visa pre-paid card with a value of up to $300 - the value of course being dependent on the device that was sent in.
