NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Review: Turing Under $300

Next up, we’ve got some benchmark scores from FarCry 5, the latest installment in the storied franchise. Like its predecessors, FarCry 5 is a fast-action shooter set in an open world environment with lush visuals and high graphics fidelity. The game takes place in a fictional county in Montana, where a cult has taken over control of the area. We tested all of the graphics cards here at multiple resolutions using Ultra Quality settings to see how they handled this recently-released AAA title.

The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1070 finish in a dead heat at both resolutions in FarCry 5, but the 1660 Ti is once again much faster than the GeForce GTX 1060.

Final Fantasy XV
Freshly Updated With DLSS Support
Deep Learning Super Sampling, or DLSS, is one of the GeForce RTX series’ stand-out features. When employed, DLSS should offer image quality on par with or better than other anti-aliasing techniques, but with a much smaller performance hit.

We only have DLSS scores on the GeForce RTX series cards in the Final Fantasy XV benchmark, since the others don't support it. With TAA enabled though, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti manages to pull ahead of AMD's Radeon RX Vega 64, but just miss the mark set by the GTX 1070.
