Mythlogic Deimos Gaming Laptop Review: GeForce GTX 980M And Desktop Skylake

When it comes to laptops, gamers have a different take on the term “mobility” than most other users. From a gamer’s perspective, the key to mobility is being able to toss your entire gaming computer into a backpack and take it with you to a LAN party or friend’s place. Size, weight and battery life still matter, of course, but they don’t weigh as heavily on buying decisions for typical gamer versus a road-warrior who needs a business-class machine to tote around daily.

The Deimos 1615S’ battery life is uninspiring, even for a gaming laptop. The battery is removable, though, so you can pick up extra batteries if you plan to be playing long unplugged.

As for noise, the Mythlogic Deimos 1615S is very quiet when handling web surfing and other light tasks. Its fans rev up quite a bit under load, which may distract some gamers. If you tend to game with headphones though, it’s a non-issue.
