Corsair TWINX2048-4400 Pro

Overclocking Results

As 275MHz is extremley fast for DDR1 memory, we weren't able to raise our memory speed much higher. Our memory ended up topping out at 280MHz, though we benchmarked and wrote down the scores anyway for your enjoyment. Our benchmarks consist of the same ones we've been using, as well the scores from benchmarking the Corsair memory at 3-4-4-8 2T with a CPU speed of 2.34GHz.

Overclocking Results and Other Observations
Can it get any faster, and is there anything else you should know?

Overclocking the ram has delivered some modest gains in our performance. Though when looking at these scores, you must also keep in mind that the CPU speed was also overclocked slightly, which is also a big determining factor. So if you have a screaming fast processor, but are still using the DDR1 platform, Corsair's PC5500 memory is an excellent buy if you're looking to max out your processor's potential.
