Creation Winstone 2002 is a benchmarking program that
measures a PC's overall performance when running multimedia
intensive programs. Some of the applications it uses

We were a little surprised to
see that the scores were virtually a dead heat between the
ABIT KX7-333R and the Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra. Even
though the Soyo board lagged behind the ABIT board in all three
PCMark2002 tests, it managed to equal the performance of the
KX7-333R. We wonder if this will hold true with
Business Winstone 2001 as well.
Business Winstone 2001:
Business Winstone is a benchmark that
measures a PC's overall performance when running
applications that are commonly found in the everyday
workstation environment. Some of the programs it runs
to determine a Business WInstone 2001 rating are:

Now here we see the KX7-333R
maintain top status by slightly more than a point.
Although a point may not look like much, it does factor in
as roughly a 2% advantage.

looking for a high performance board with a lot of potential
may find what they are looking for with the KX7-333R.
In closing, we've had virtually
nothing negative to say about this motherboard. The KX7-333R stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun, proving
that it has what it takes to be one of the best performing
KT333 motherboards on the market today. We were
completely impressed with the entire KX7-333R package, from
its features to quality and performance, not only earning
itself a HotHardware Heat Meter Rating of
an 9.5...
but also earning it the Hot Hardware Editors
Choice Award for its overall excellence and quality.
