Nonetheless, Fujitsu's F904i features a 3.1 inch 16:9 widescreen display (big compared to other cell phones) and is scheduled for sale on Friday. LG electronics announced they've got an answer to that touchscreen phone wonder, Apple's iPhone. Instead of making it cheaper, they're making it available in February in Europe, and they're charging even more for it than an iPhone will cost. How? By teaming with fashion giant Prada LG's Prada Phone is being produced in partnership with the Italian fashion brand. It is set to go on sale in late February for 600 euros ($780) at mobile phone dealers and Prada stores in Britain, France, Germany and Italy, and comes to Asia in March. Skype, which has popularized Web telephone calling, on Monday marked progress in extending its low-cost calling services beyond computers to new types of phones. At the Consumer Electronics Show here, Skype, a unit of online auctioneer eBay Inc., said it was introducing 12 new phones and related phone accessories in conjunction with telecommunications equipment suppliers. The models include a dual-mode phone from Netgear Inc., the SPH200D, which enables users to place and receive both traditional phone calls and Skype Internet calls from a single cordless handset. Verizon Wireless announced Tuesday that it will soon be bringing select videos from YouTube to its customers. A smaller than expected number of users have signed up for Verizon's advanced services, and this deal is a way for Verizon to spur interest in its streaming video service. The videos should start arriving sometime this December. The world's largest cellphone maker Nokia will unveil new multimedia phone models, including an N73 camera phone, at an event in Berlin next week. With its new N-series phones Nokia will take a step toward more stylish and lighter models, but it is still a long way from rival Samsung's and Motorola's thin models, sources said. Penstarsys has published a review of the Icemat Audio Siberia Headphones. Given the success Icemat has had with their mousepad business, there seems to be a good chance that these headphones are a quality product.
