In some ways, the vacuum is like the toaster. It has been around for as long as anyone can remember, has become a staple of households everywhere, and it's pretty tough to innovate on. Unless you're Dyson, in which case you've been making outlandish dirt suckers for years. The company's newest invention is the Dyson 360 Eye, which aims to compete with Roomba and competing vacs that can see around your room and operate without you watching over it. Dyson. It's a name generally linked to wild (and wildly expensive) vacuum cleaners, but today the company is doing something a little different. Er, a lot different. The only other diversion for Dyson in recent memory from its core product group was the Airblade, a commercial hand dryer that blasted water from your hands without requiring your to hit any buttons or touch any germ-infested towel dispensers.
