Next we'll test the Galaxy Tab S4 with GFXBench, which has been one of our standard mobile graphics performance benchmarks for quite a while now. In order to ensure display refresh (v-sync) and resolution are not limiting factors, we are comparing Offscreen test results here. GFXBench tests OpenGL ES graphics workloads; we're specifically testing OGLES 2.0 and 3.0 rendering performance in the following two benchmark modules.

The Galaxy Tab S4 is about 20% faster than the Galaxy Tab S3 in general performance, but in these graphics intensive tests, it is about 30% faster than its predecessor.
3DMark makes use of both the more powerful GPU and additional CPU cores the Galaxy tab S4 has to offer. In this test we were looking at nearly a 60% performance increase over the Galaxy Tab S3. It even outpaced NVIDIA's Shield Tablet, which has been one of the better gaming oriented tablets since its release.
