NVIDIA Star Wars TITAN Xp Collector's Edition Review: The GeForce Is Strong With This One
NVIDIA Star Wars TITAN Xp Collector's Edition Is One With The Force
Performance Summary: The NVIDIA Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition is a beast of a graphics card. To put it simply, this is the fastest, single-GPU we have tested to date – bar none. To make a relevant analogy, if the Millenium Falcon can make the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs, the NVIDIA Titan Xp Collector’s Edition can make it in eleven. There is no other GPU on the market currently that can match this card’s performance. Period.
NVIDIA’s Pascal architecture is not new and the GP102 at the heart of the NVIDIA Titan Xp Star Wars Collector’s Edition has been around for quite a while at this point. However, when you pack the most powerful consumer GPU available and 12GB of super-fast GDDR5X memory onto a customized, limited edition graphics card, that also happens to resemble a light-saber, its wow factor shoots up a few notches. In addition to being an ultra-powerful, lust-worthy GPU for hardcore gamers and Star Wars fans, the NVIDIA Titan Xp Collector’s Edition is just plain awesome and awesomely fast.
The Dark Side Of The Force Is A Pathway To Many Abilities
Awesome comes at a price, though. Whether you choose the Jedi Order or Galactic Empire-themed card, like the one we showed you here, it’ll set you back a cool $1,200 – while supplies last. That’s some serious coin, no doubt about it. But, it’s actually the same price as the standard Titan Xp, so the customized packaging and Star Wars theme are technically freebies. Despite the relatively lofty price tag, however, we suspect these cards are going to vanish post haste. Star Wars fans are some of the most passionate folks out there and many of them are hardcore gamers as well. Unless their credit cards are frozen in carbonite, we suspect many of them will be making the jump to light speed ASAP. May the GeForce be with you.
