Moto X (2nd Gen) By Motorola Review

To get a feel for how graphics performance on the Moto X compares to other devices, we used GFXBench, which has been one of our standard graphics performance benchmarks for a while. In order to ensure Vsynch and resolution isn’t a limiting factor, we will compare offscreen test results.

As you can see in the both tests, the Moto X reported the same scores as the Samsung Galaxy S5, which is a very powerful and well-received phone. Given that these phones have the same processor and GPU, the similarity of scores isn’t too surprising.

Using the Unlimited version of 3DMark Ice Storm, the Moto X earned first place scores in the GT1, GT2, and Graphics components of the test. The Moto X’s overall Ice Storm score was 19571, which is just behind the top-performing HTC One M8 2014.
