Motorola Droid Turbo 2 And Droid Maxx 2 Review: Shatterproof And Value Android

To get a feel for how graphics performance on the Moto Droid smartphones to other devices, we used GFXBench, which has been one of our standard graphics performance benchmarks for a while. In order to ensure Vsynch and resolution isn’t a limiting factor, we compare offscreen test results. We also used Futuremark's 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited benchmark.

GFXBench paints a clear picture of the difference in hardware between the Turbo 2 and the lower-priced Maxx 2. If you game even casually, this may be the point at which you zero in on the Turbo 2, as it clearly has some gaming chops.

The new Motorola Droid Turbo 2 took top honors in 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited. The graphics score of 37258 is an eye-opener. The Maxx 2, on the other hand, struggled to keep up with the rest of the phones in this comparison.
