Lenovo B750 All-in-One 29-Inch Desktop Review

Power Consumption & Noise

We used a power meter to measure the amount of power our test system pulled from the wall outlet. You'll find two figures below: peak power consumption under a full CPU/GPU load, and how much the system pulled from the wall when idle, following a fresh system boot.

The B750 is an efficient machine. At idle, it consumes just 74W, which is pretty impressive for a full-fledged desktop rocking a 29-inch monitor. Presented with a load, power consumption creeps into 200W territory.

Noise:
There won't be many time when you actually hear the B750 working. It's a quiet system, though there are active cooling fans that exhaust out air out of the top of the machine in a recessed area. We only heard the fans when stressing the system, and even then, it was a low whisper -- certainly not loud enough to be a distraction.
