Futuremark benchmarks have been the go-to system tests since the late ‘90s. We ran the HP
Spectre Folio through PCMark 10, which is designed to gauge the system performance in everyday use scenarios with GPU acceleration-enabled, while 3DMark tests its gaming chops.

Our previous synthetic benchmarks only evaluate the performance of individual subsystems. PCMark10, however, provides everyday usage scenario with real application tests and the Spectre Folio delivers respectable performance. The Samsung PM961 SSD really helps boost its Essentials score and rivals that of higher-end Core i7-8650U-equipped notebooks. Its productivity performance is on par with previous 7th-Generation Kaby Lake notebooks, which is quite remarkable for something with a fifth of the power consumption.

3DMark performance is as expected for the Intel UHD 615 graphics. Of course, the Spectre Folio isn’t a gaming machine, but you knew that. It can play Stardew Valley adequately, in case you needed a second system for some multi-player farming and adventuring but Crysis is out of the question, so to speak.
