Cinebench and 3DMark06
Cinebench 9.5 is a popular benchmark tool based on CINEMA 4D. This is a multi-threaded, multi-processor aware benchmark that renders a single 3D scene and tracks the length of the entire process. The time it took each test system to render the entire scene is represented in the graph below (listed in seconds).
Here, both motherboards are able to fully render the Cinebench test image in 75 seconds. At this point, it's clear that both of the motherboards we tested offer similar performance.
3DMark06 is a multi-threaded "gaming related" DirectX metric that's useful for comparing relative performance between similarly equipped systems.
With 3DMark06, the ASUS A8N Deluxe holds a slight lead over the DFI LANPARTY UT CFX3200-DR, with almost a 50 point lead. Still, it's unclear as of yet how well 50 points in 3DMark06 will translate when we start benchmarking with actual games.
