Comanche 4
Benchmarking with DirectX 8

Comanche 4 is another good processor test, however, at 1280x1024 it starts to become clear that the All in Wonder RADEON 9700 dominates, while the GeForce4 begins to trail off.  Compared to its previous generation though, the All in Wonder RADEON 9700 Pro demonstrates a distinct improvement.

Even the R300 graphics processor begins to suffer at 1280x1024 with anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering enabled.  In fact, the GeForce4 Ti 4600 begins gaining ground, indicating that ATI's drivers might be due for a little optimization.

More DirectX 8, This Time Synthetic

The R300 powers through 3D Mark and even without anti-aliasing is still able to establish a sizeable performance lead.

The RADEON 9700 again demonstrates a clear advantage with anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering enabled.  At 1280x1024, the lead extends as far as 41%.
