When it comes down to everyday usage, the two motherboard's posted nearly identical results.  With multimedia intensive applications, there was a slight edge in favor of the ASUS P5GDC-V Deluxe, topping the Soltek model in the Content Creation test.  Conversely, the Soltek SL-915GPro-FGR managed to top the ASUS model in general application usage, taking the top seed in Business Winstone, also by a close margin.  At this point, saying one beat the other is truly splitting hairs as both models managed virtually identical results overall.
