Galaxy S10 Leak Allegedly Confirms Display, Camera Specs And 12GB/1TB Config For Galaxy S10+
This is the leak that we’ve been all waiting for with regards to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 family of smartphones. We’re getting some real concrete details on the hardware specifications for the smartphone family, which will include the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.
This latest leak comes courtesy of GSM Arena, which alleges that it obtained specs sheets for all three smartphones, including information on screen sizes, display resolutions, available RAM and color options. With regards to the Galaxy S10e, the device is said to feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a FHD+ resolution (2280x1080). The fingerprint reader is mounted within the side-mounted power button and there are dual rear cameras (12MP f/1.5 Dual Aperture sensor and 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor).
Moving on up, we have the Galaxy S10 with a 6.1-inch Infinity-O display (3040x1440). The smartphone uses an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded within the display and has three rear cameras (12MP f/2.4 telephoto, 12MP, f/1.5 DA, 16MP f/2.2 UW). The Galaxy S10+ reportedly ups the stakes with a 6.3-inch Infinity-O display (3040x1440) and the same rear camera setup as the Galaxy S10.
When it comes to selfie cameras, the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 both feature a 10MP f/1.9 sensor, while the Galaxy S10+ allegedly adds a second 8MP f/2.2 Live Focus, Dual Pixel 4K sensor. All three smartphones include Wireless Power Share functionality and Wi-Fi 6 support; with the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ including 3100 mAh, 3400 mAh, and 4100 mAh batteries respectively. All of the smartphones – at least for the U.S. market – will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
The Galaxy S10e will be available in a 6GB/128GB (RAM/storage) or 8GB/258GB configuration, while the Galaxy S10 can be configured with 6GB/128GB or 8GB/512GB. The Galaxy S10+, however, will max out with a 12GB/1TB configuration with the Limited Edition model.
Finally, colors available across all three models include Prism White, Prism Green and Prism Black. The Galaxy S10e adds the option for Canary Yellow, while the Galaxy S10+ Limited Edition can be had in Luxurious Ceramic White or Luxurious Ceramic Black.
At this time, these specs will have to be considered “rumored” at this point, but they largely line up with what we’ve previously read (and seen) with previous leaks. With that being said, Samsung will officially announce the full Galaxy S10 family and the Galaxy F folding smartphone on February 20th.
