A little over a month ago, Best Buy rolled out a compelling promotion on the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. At the time, the electronics retailer offered a blanket $300 discount across the board on the phones, meaning that prices started at $449 for the Galaxy S10e and capped out at $699 for the Galaxy S10+. Today, Best Buy has cranked up the discounts so now the Galaxy S10e is available for an even more generous $400 off, taking its price to a low $349. However, Best Buy reserves an even higher $500 discount for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. With this discount, the Galaxy S10 is priced at $499, while the Galaxy S10+ comes down to $599. We should note that these... Read more...
Generally speaking, pricing on flagship smartphones has continued to climb, because all of those fancy bells and whistles found on the top-end models do not come cheap. Not everyone has or is willing to spend a grand or more on a top-shelf handset, though, and some of the cheaper alternatives make too many sacrifices to hit a lower price point. That is not the case with Samsung's Galaxy S10e. The Samsung Galaxy S10e is the least expensive model in the Galaxy S10 family, the others consisting of the regular Galaxy S10, the larger Galaxy S10+, and the decked out Galaxy S10 5G. Make no mistake, however, even though the Galaxy S10e is positioned at the rear of the pack, it is not a budget or entry-level... Read more...

With this new pricing in effect, it means that you can get the Galaxy S10e for $449, the Galaxy S10 for just $599, or the Galaxy S10+ for $699. There is one caveat to this new promotion, however. While all of these phones come from the factory unlocked, you will have to activate it with Best Buy through one of three carriers: Verizon Wireless, AT&T, or Sprint.... Read more...
How resilient is your brand new Samsung Galaxy S10 to the rigors of daily use? SquareTrade recently conducted a drop “test” and noted that Samsung’s three new Galaxy S10 devices are all susceptible to cracking. Interestingly, SquareTrade concluded that Galaxy S10 performed better than the S10e and S10+. SquareTrade dropped the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ from six feet both face down and face up. The camera lens and flash of the Galaxy S10e broke when it was dropped face up and the device was completely unusable when it fell face down. The Galaxy S10+ shattered after both drops but continued to remain somewhat functional. The S10 cracked after it was dropped, but it was... Read more...
