Brandon received his first PC, an IBM Aptiva 310, in 1994 and hasn’t looked back since. He cut his teeth on computer building/repair working at a mom and pop computer shop as a plucky teen in the mid 90s and went on to join AnandTech as the Senior News Editor in 1999. Brandon would later help to form DailyTech where he served as Editor-in-Chief from 2008 until 2014. Brandon is a tech geek at heart, and family members always know where to turn when they need free tech support. When he isn’t writing about the tech hardware or studying up on the latest in mobile gadgets, you’ll find him browsing forums that cater to his long-running passion: automobiles.

Acura has taken so long to bring the NSX to production that I’ve sort of lost interest. That’s not to say that the NSX won’t be an amazing vehicle, but Ford has pretty much stolen the show at this year’s Detroit Auto Show with the all-new GT supercar (Ford didn’t hype the GT prior to its unveil; it just dropped the... Be still my heart! Ford just dropped a bombshell on the audience at the Detroit Auto Show with the reveal of its latest supercar: the GT. Words just can describe how jaw-droppingly beautiful this car is from its flowing lines, to the way the roof blends into the rear fenders via a “wing”. It’s… simply…... Read more...
It’s on now! Companies like Ford, Chevrolet, and Nissan have been shoving electric vehicles down our throats for the past few years. However, the Focus Electric, Spark EV, and Nissan Leaf can only travel 80 to 90 miles on a charge before they run out of juice. While that may be enough for those that simply commute to work or putter around Read more...
Samsung’s Galaxy A7 that we’ve been telling you about for the past few weeks is finally here, and the device brings with it some highs, and some lows. First of all, the design of the Galaxy A7 is impressive, with its aluminum unibody measuring in at just 6.3mm thick. That makes its one of the thinnest smartphone around (for comparison, the Read more...

According to the Automotive News’ sources at the time, the vehicle will be based on the current generation Chevrolet Sonic, which was first introduced in the U.S. market back in 2011 as a 2012... It seems hard to believe that it’s been eight years since the original iPhone was first announced. At the time many of us were using smartphones like the Samsung Blackjack, and if you were a true diehard, BlackBerry smartphones. And for those of us that didn’t have smartphones, there were still plenty of bar- and... Read more...
After having its name besmirched following the release of Windows Vista, Microsoft hit it out of the park with its follow-up: Windows 7. Ahhh, the 90s! Jean shorts, Big Johnson t-shirts, fanny packs, and of course, MS-DOS gaming.
