DailyTech has managed to get their hands on a preliminary sample of ATI's upcoming mainstream RV570 GPU and has posted some early performance results for your viewing pleasure. Fudo over at The Inquirer reports that their sources have indicated that ATI's upcoming RV570 GPU will be released with a surprisingly low $199 price point. Digitimes has just posted a story that claims NVIDIA is already in volume production of its 90u G71 which is the successor to the GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB.
