HP is in Germany at Gamescom 2019, and at the show, it has unveiled several new gaming computers, displays, and other items. One of the most interesting of the gaming displays is the HP Omen X 27 gaming monitor. The screen has a native screen resolution of 2560x1440 at 240 Hz, and its thin bezels are designed to allow multiple display setups to have less gap between them.  The stand allows for tilt and height adjustment, and the screen has an anti-glare coating. The panel has true 8-bit depth, and the response time is 1ms with OverDrive and 3ms with OverDrive off. HP is hoping to offer gamers the best of both world with its Omen X Emperium 65. Although HP is careful not to call the Omen X Emperium 65 a television, per se, there's no escaping that fact that this is a massive display that would be more at home in your living room, den, or bonus room than your average computer desk. The Omen X Emperium measures a massive 65 inches diagonally, which puts it squarely in big-screen 4K HDTV territory. HP wants you to like what you hear, so it’s partnering with Bang & Olufsen to improve the sound in many of its upcoming tablets, notebooks, and desktop PCs. “In all HP devices that carry the Bang & Olufsen or B&O Play brand, a dedicated audio island isolates the sensitive audio circuits from other signals on the motherboard,” HP said in a statement today. “The headphone jack limits the amount of metal parts to reduce ground noise to help further perfect the audio experience on HP devices.”We recently reviewed the HP Omen with Beats Audio.
