It provides a quick look at best and worst case scenarios with regard to SSD performance, best case being larger sequential transfers and worse case being small, random transfers.

The BG4 performs even better than Toshiba's rated specifications in terms of sequential reads and writes. And performance remains competitive with some of the more affordable drives throughout; the important 4K Q1D1 test shows the BG4 with the second best reads and writes that land right in the middle of the pack.
