Sony Xperia Z3v Smartphone For Verizon Wireless Review
For Verizon Wireless customers who haven’t seen a new Sony phone for the last few years, the Xperia Z3v will be a welcome addition to the carrier’s lineup. For some users, the fact that the Xperia Z3v offers PS4 RemotePlay capabilities will be enough to seal the deal. Even if you’re not interested in the RemotePlay functionality, however, this phone still has a lot to offer.

Overall, the Xperia Z3v is an attractive and solid phone. It also has a very good camera with some extra shooting features you won’t find on other smartphones, which is another plus. Although the display isn’t the highest resolution we’ve seen to date, it’s still offers a good viewing experience and doesn’t require a ton of GPU horsepower to keep things moving smoothly.
If you look only at the benchmark scores of the Xperia Z3v, you’re probably not going to be terribly impressed. This is partially because the phones in many of the comparison charts have more powerful hardware inside. In real-world testing however, the Z3v was a pleasure to use, so we want to caution against putting too much weight on the benchmarks alone.
At the time of this writing, the Xperia Z3v is available for just $0.99 on contract. Although the Xperia Z3v may not have the same specifications as today’s flagship phones that cost $200 or more on contract, it definitely offers powerful hardware for the money and interesting features like PS4 Remoteplay.
