Google Nexus 6P Review: A Magnificent Marshallow Powered Flagship
Next, we'll take a look at how the Nexus 6P compares to other smartphones by examining a few benchmarks that are currently available online or in the Android Marketplace.
Given that SunSpider was recently decommissioned, it'll take some time to build up a database of devices tested with JetStream. Furthermore, JetStream puts mobile browsers through a fairly intense gauntlet of tests. Historically, Chrome (which is the default browser on Nexus devices) hasn't fared well in these tests, while Safari (the default browser within iOS) has. Hence the significant gap between the Nexus 6P and Apple's iPhone 6s Plus. Still, everyday browsing is great on this device, with nary a hint of lag or stuttering.
In the BrowserMark tests, the Nexus 6P falls just slightly behind the latest duo in the Samsung Galaxy lineup. Beyond those two flagship devices, which cost hundreds more, the Nexus 6P pulls ahead of its competition.
