Intel SSD DC P3700 NVMe PCIe Review

CrystalDiskMark Benchmarks

CrystalDiskMark is a synthetic benchmark that tests both sequential and random small and mid-sized file transfers using incompressible data. It provides a quick look at best and worst case scenarios with regard to SSD performance, best case being larger sequential transfers and worse case being small, random transfers.

The Intel SSD DC P3700 offers the best overall performance in the various CrystalDiskMark tests as well. The Intel SSD 910 in the 4K QD32 write test and the Fusion IO and OCZ drives are faster in the 4K read test, but that's it. In every other test, the new SSD DC P3700 takes the lead, sometimes by a wide margin.
