We are using the standard benchmark settings from Bapco, along with a few other minor system tweaks. The screensaver was disabled and volume was set at approximately 20%.
MobileMark 2002 utilizes the following applications:
- Microsoft Word 2002
- Microsoft Excel 2002
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2002
- Microsoft Outlook 2002
- Netscape Communicator 6.0
- McAfee VirusScan 5.13
- Adobe Photoshop 6.0.1
- Macromedia Flash 5
- WinZip 8.0

With the standard 6 cell battery, the ZE2000 clocks in a few minutes shy of 3 hours. We don't have the optional 12 cell extended battery pack, but based on our experience with the DV1000, which uses the same model battery, the ZE2000 should be able to get around 6.5 hours.
A full charge from 0% to 100% (turning off the default power alarms in Windows XP) takes 2 hours and 10 minutes, according to our use. If the default 3% alarm is left on (automatic hibernate at that level), it will take a little under 2 hours to get a full charge. These charge times are for the 6 cell battery; we didn't have a 12 cell battery to test.
