Metro Last Light |
DirectX 11 Gaming Performance |
|
Metro Last Light boasts some of the best 3D visuals on the PC platform and includes a DX11 rendering mode that makes use of advanced depth of field effects
and character model tessellation for increased realism. This title also supports NVIDIA PhysX technology for impressive in-game physics effects. We tested
the game at resolutions of 2560x1600 and 4K with its in-game image quality options set to their Very High Quality mode, with Advanced PhysX effects
disabled.
Just like before, the Bolt 3 performed just below a system with a standard Titan X card, as well as systems running SLI Nvidia GeForce cards. Its
single-card performance was pretty good on 2560x1600, but it wasn't strong enough to run the ever-demanding Metro Last Light at top quality settings on 4K.
It's ok, though; even SLI rigs struggled with that one.
