Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47, a cold-blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Betrayed by those he once trusted - and now hunted by the police - he suddenly finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world. We tested the game at multiple resolutions, with all in-game options set to their maximum values and global illumination and 4X anti-aliasing enabled. |
The Radeon HD 7990 also performed very well in the Hitman: Absolution benchmark, besting NVIDIA's competitive offerings at both resolutions we tested. Due to the newer beta drivers we used for testing, the Radeon HD 7990 also outpaced the 7970 CrossFire setup, but that delta would likely disappear had we been able to use the same driver on both configurations.

Although not quite as bad as Sleeping Dogs, the Radeon HD 7990 had frame latency issues in Hitman as well. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690, however, was able to deliver frames at a more regular intervals.
