CrystalDiskMark is a synthetic benchmark that tests both sequential and random small and mid-sized file transfers using incompressible data. It provides a quick look at best and worst case scenarios with regard to SSD performance, best case being larger sequential transfers and worse case being small, random transfers.

The performance trends we've seen through most of this review returned in CrystamDiskMark. The
ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro puts up some strong numbers in the sequential tests, that trail only the pricier Samsung drives. In the low queue depth 4K tests, the ADATA drives offers the second best read speed, however, and writes land about in the middle of the pack.
