Walmart And Costco Pile On Xbox One S And PlayStation 4 Discounts For Black Friday

This is the time of year when families and friends get together to feast on turkey and fixings, and score deals in technology (and other categories). We are exactly three weeks away from the madness that is known as Black Friday, and retailers have started posting ads outlining upcoming bargains. Two of the newest ads are from Walmart and Costco, both of which will have several deals on Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 systems.

Walmart

Starting with Walmart, flipping through the flyer we see a PlayStation 4 Slim bundle with a 500GB of storage and Uncharted 4 for $249. It also comes with a $30 gift card. Not too shabby. Walmart will also have several games marked down to $27 each, compared to their original $60 MSRPs, though some of them are older titles such as NBA 2K17. Still, it's a good way to build up a games library with a new console, without spending a fortune.

Some other PS4 deals include:

• Lego Dimensions Starter Pack: $39 (down from $50.96)
• Skylanders Starter Pack: $39 (down from $74)
• Guitar Hero 2 Pack: $49 (down from $79)

If you've been holding out for an Xbox system, Walmart will have an Xbox One S 500GB Battlefield bundle for $249. There is a note on the flyer that buyers can save $50 on any Xbox One console, so keep your eyes peeled for a different bundle, if Battlefield does not interest you. There will also be an Xbox 360 500GB Forza Horizon 2 bundle for $129.

Black Friday will be a good time to pick up peripherals, as well. Gamers can score an Xbox One or PS4 controller for $39 instead of $60, and a Turtle Beach Recon 50P headset for $25. Tons of games will be on sale too, such as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition for $57 (down from $79.88).

Walmart's Black Friday bonanza starts on 6 PM Thursday, and of course the deals are good while supplies last.

Costco

Over at Costco, shoppers will be able to score a PS4 with 1TB of storage for $100, and an Xbox One S bundle with two controllers and a 3-month Xbox Game Pass for $80 off.

Some other deals include:

• Save $100 on a PS4 1TB with two controllers, Call of Duty WWII, and Destiny 2
• Save $90 on an Xbox One S with two controllers, 3-month Xbox Game Pass, NBA 2K18, and Madden 18

If you need a big screen for all this gaming goodness, you can go large—really large—with a Vizeo 80-inch 4K XLED TV with built in 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Chromecast for $2,500.

Costco is kicking off Black Friday on November 24 (Friday) at 9 AM, and like Walmart, the deals are while supplies last.
