The in-game level cap will also be reportedly raised to eighty. New players and players who are returning to the game after a long absence will be able to boost to level 30 so that they can participate in the DLC. Many believe that the DLC will be available at the beginning of this week.

Borderlands 2 was released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Mac OS X platforms on September 18, 2012. The game was well-received by critics and was the best-selling game of 2012. As of 2019, over 20 million copies have been sold and more than 1 million gamers continue to play the game each month.

Borderlands 3 will be available later this year. The game's antagonists Troy and Tyreen Calypso discover that there are other vaults on planets besides Pandora and seek to take control of them. The character Lilith recruits the player to stop the Calypso’s from gaining the other vaults. The Borderlands 3 gameplay is similar to its predecessors, but will feature more modern combat maneuvers and abilities.

Borderlands 3 is set to be released on September 13, 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will also be available for the Google Stadia on a future date. We will hopefully learn more about the Borderlands 2 DLC by the end of the day.
